Im going through similar pain with my MB 6v just doesn't leave many volts if you get a slight voltage drop somewhere or the 70+year old dynamo doesn't send out enough to the 70+ year old regulator. People always say its a grounding issue etc etc but my loom was all newly done ive connected...

I'm Biased but the North Antrim coast road is hard to beat too. ( that is Scotland in the distance over the top of steering wheel)
